The semi longer caption for out Marine in Atlantic City New Jersey USA

When I first saw this man on the rocks I wanted a very different shot. I wanted that battered fisherman. We started to talk; I asked him about fishing. He complained like fisherman & photographers do. I said yeah I hear ya, I came out for a sunrise shot but I wasn't early enough; at least you did your part and got out here early for your sport. After a little more talk I asked for a photo. He said SURE but WAIT! I have to turn my hat around. I'm a Vietnam Veteran, I need that in the picture. I said Respect to that and of course take your time. I said I have Uncles & a Cousin who served in Vietnam Respect to all of you. What Branch can I ask? MARINES! I said my Dad is a Marine, My Brother is a Marine and one of my Uncles who served in Vietnam, he's a Marine too. Respect to all of you. The photo I wanted was trash, this is DIGNITY & PRIDE!
